Scott Kurtz over at PvP , recently introduced a superhero steeped in internet memes: the Lolbat. Keeping in my rather uncharacteristic theme this week of being highly productive, I knocked out this Lolbat piece today.

Unfortunately, due to my being out of town all last week and weekend, I wasn’t able to have a new comic for this morning.  I will, however, attempt to compensate you with this piece, highlighting my strongest visual memory of the weekend.

So a funny thing happened this week that prevented me from doing a Tuesday comic: Ike

I figured that since I live pretty far, as in hundreds of miles, from Texas, I would be fairly unaffected by the storm.

Sunday afternoon, Columbus was hit with 75mph storm winds that pretty much knocked us on our ass.  About half the city was without power for for two days, and I still have friends without power. Granted this was a walk in the park compared with what people are still going through in Texas, it was still enough to prevent me from doing a comic.

So sorry about that.
